After some work on the smpc, the games that weren't working because of the start button not being detected are now

Well, not all of them, but Puyo Puyo Sun is now playable, Sasisu and Colums 97 are "controlable", and Radiant Silvergun + the Cotton games are starting (black screen after that)








And last but not least ... Burning Rangers

I just corrected a major bug in the cd-block, resulting in a huge compatibility increase

I just tested a few games, but expect more screenshots soon

OpenGL right now.

Worms is playable



Last Bronx loops after the character selection



Pretty Fighters X crashes at game start



Toshinden URA is "playable", but quite messy



Magic Knight Rayearth is playable, but because of the missing scrollings it looks a little strange ...



Legend of Oasis shows the title screen



Dracula X loops after the character selection



Gals Panic SS hangs after starting a new game



Battle monsters is playable, but with very crappy graphics ...

One of the biggest lamers magnet is booting <_<



Die Hard Arcade works a little better than in ST-V



Capcom Generations vol. 4 locks the drive at game start ...



Winter Heat hangs after the first event





Don Pachi loops at game start

Some shots from the last alpha version, which has scrolling

Liquid Kids is perfect



Cotton 2 (STV) title screen is perfect, and some things start to show up in game Bullets and backgrounds are missing though ...



Cotton Boomerang (STV) character selection is better with the scrolling, but it's far from being perfect ...



Funky Heads Boxers (STV) backgrounds are now present



Magic Knight Rayearth is almost perfect

once again, Runik = god!. Love what you're doing here Runik. EVentaully, will we be able to select the resolution of the game, how we do w/ PC games to make the image quality better?

I'm thinking of it, but it won't happen soon ... it's rather low priority in my todo list There are a lot of things to do before that, like increasing the speed ...

Oh, for sure. I was just wondering if it'd be possable and how much better it'd make the game look. I would rather have better compatibility/speed beforehand though. Keep up the good work!

Excellent progress! Because I aint that technical, what is it that you do to that makes games running better and better? Adding compatibility code?

It's definitely possible, as Fabien does it in Satourne

A game running at 1024*768 intead of 320*224 and having FSAA would be great to look at
