| CDB104 is there: | |||

| Very nice. How did you dump it? | |||

| By referring at the document below to find Saturn with CDB104 on auction sites. Dump operation used magic tricks a bit like in Bagdad Cafe movie. | |||

| That's not really helpful, I know people with prototype units with early CDB code, it would be nice if those could get dumped too but I guess you don't want to share your method. | |||

I sent you a DM. | ||||

| Why so secretive? I really don't get it. It's firmware for a 30 year old game console, not the nuclear codes. I'm one of the people with a Sophia running an earlier dev firmware (socketed IC, no copy protection): I'm more than happy to dump it and share it publicly, along with firmware dumps from the other 8 saturns of various regions/models I have, in case there's anything new in there too. I have all the tools/skills to put something together to do the dumping on my end, but I don't have the time or inclination to figure out the method from scratch and design something new to do it, yet again, a decade after it was first done. Surely in 2025, we can have some gerbers and source up on github with a DIY dumping guide? That's what I'm waiting for. | |||

| SH-1 ROM dumper board is almost ready. Warm thanks to @Waterfuell..., @antime..., @rorirub... and @Nemesis... who motivated me to develop it. Please contact me in this thread or with a direct message if you are the lucky owner of a development Saturn and want to dump and publicly release its SH-1 ROM. | |||
