			I always thought Survivor (the band) was pretty cool. They did the music for the Rocky movies. Also really liked Van Halen, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson (prior to BAD [the album]), and if you're talking metal, 80's was the best. Too many great bands to list.

			well, i suppose the house music movement really took off in 1989, forming the foundations to the early 90s dance peroid in the UK, one of my favourite musical periods
