What are your favorite Sega Beats?

Obviously video game music wasn't so hot back in the day, mostly because stereo sound wasn't added to consoles 'till the 16-bit era. But even then, GOOD video game tracks started with Yuzo Koshiro. I used to think the title screen track of "Revenge of Shinobi" was the greatest. He also made all of the "streets of rage" music and a bunch of other stuff too.

The only reason I mention all of this garbage is because there is one song that I always loved (not from sega), and it's roots were pre-stereo. How about the Zelda theme?!?!? The best thing about it other than the really catchy tune is that it's evolved into a more beautiful melody with the release of Nintendo's newer systems. Sorry sega, but I think Zelda takes the cake...for withstanding the test of time. Maybe it's not classic sega, but I think it deserves a spot in this post.

How about this...

Favorite Video game track of all time... only one, but from ANY console.

Sonic CD. Work of genius.

(BTW, the c64 had ace soundtracks, the SID chip was ace!)

I wouldn't be able to pick a favorite. Hell, I can't even pick a Sega favorite. Too many favorites

Start a new thread if you want to talk about non Sega games.
