There's a board missing.. I tend to agree that this was for a positive change. To be honest, if it were ANY other person much more damage could have been made. But unlike most people, Rev wasn't here to cause senseless retalitory damage. He was here to make a strong but generaly non disruptive point, and that he did. Upon which time, he tipped his hat and returned everything back without a fight when asked upon. I don't think you could have delt with a better person. Anyone with less character would have just crippled SX to the ground and be done with. Surly this alone shows his actions were by no means designed to just cause damage (No matter how small it may have been). |

Case in point, Pimpbot. Besides, Rat had no particular care for what SX stands for (or, what SX stood for, depending on your view of the current situation). |

WHAT? doing what he did was in good character? -- Anyone with less character would have crippled SX - true, but anyone with more character would have left some thing that didnt belong to him alone - and if he didn't like something, voice an opinion to the owner. A better person would have voiced his concern by means that were rightfully his the same strong point could have been achived by other means even if a similar action sparked an extreamly positive change or fixed a problem - it was still wrong things piss me off all the time - a great deal - i dont go on the street and start playing baseball with peoples heads -- or cause damage to some bulding thats not mine his intensions were good, i dont disagree - but i dont agree the way he carried them out thats all |

There's a board missing.. its poor management to leave access available to someone who no longer needs it anyway rev and the others had voiced their opinion on the ftp section before that happened, so its not as if they just decided right, ive had enough ill delete the section |

There's a board missing.. IceMan2k, good luck with your subordinates. We haven't seen the last of this shit! The FTP forum was a bad idea to get rid of and a worse idea to bring it back. God speed in restoring order here, but it just seems too divided and hostile to settle down for long. |

There's a board missing.. if getting rid of it was bad, and bringing it back was worse, what do you suggest we do about it? you yourself seem a bit hostile. got to be careful around here. |

There's a board missing.. HA HA HA HA boy this is too funny - i get a picture of 2 sides getting ready to battle with pitch forks in hand - armbands sporting FTP and FTP in a NO symbol i dont get why people are getting so bent up over an issue like this -- this is a virtual message board (sure it is the absolute best one but thats beside the point ) not a high court or something -- change is always needed - it keeps away monotony and risk of bordom -- something good allways comes out of change - if it is initialy bad then steps would be taken to make it right -- in the long run no mater what side wins - the right descision will be made |

There's a board missing..
That's so bogus. The decision to bring back the FTP section is not correct nor right and never will the correct choice. It seems to me it was just brought back so the website gets more traffic. That's just a wrong excuse. It's like dropping $100 bill on the floor. Imagine how quickly someone will pick it up? It's just a bribe for new peoples to come.. Instead of bringing the FTP section back, other things should have been provided if things were becoming boring. Ah well... |

There's a board missing.. i never said it was the right decision |

There's a board missing.. Well I have a feeling that too many people have been burned already. Its doubtfull if anything managment does can make up of all of this. Looks like a whole wack of people are gonna jump ship for VGR. |
schi0249 | Nov 19, 2002 | |||
There's a board missing.. Anyone know if they have an ETA for VGR. That site looks like it is going to be awesome. |

There's a board missing.. I think a lot of you need to be a little bit more fucking grateful for everything Iceman's done for you. Thanks to him, you've had a place to gather and a place you more than likely got free games through. So STFU and be a little more fucking curteous. You're using resources he's paid for, so stop being so damn rude. And that sentiment goes to a lot of those folks "waiting on VGR, so I can jump ship." You should appreciate the fact that you have a place to gather and hear VGR news until the site comes online. |
