Was a good choice, I had all the three models (CDX, Model1, Model2) but I prefer the first model, because its front loading, and it seems to be more solid, better construct!!!

Have fun!!! :banana

The CDX has some Sega CD game incompatibilities doesn't it? I thought I read that it has trouble playing Terminator and/or Jurassic Park cd games.

When I fist got mt CDX your right the Jurassic Park did not work.

Back then sega had support so I mailed it back and they sent me one that worked.

From my observations of people complaining of problems on the net, the Model 2 seems more reliable than the Model 1. There are simply fewer parts and therefore less that can go wrong.

i have already played with the 3:

cd 1 is my most reliable one and it works with 32x fine

cd 2 i have alrady broken one of this (laser went boom!) 32x works fine

cdx just to show off and yes i have a 32x working with it and the most

it has happened is that the temperature of the console went from

cold to luke warm (4 hours play)

And I agree with yourmaster , those games are nothing to worry about

:cheers cdx is a nice item to have
