Earlier this year "Fireburner" was one of the standard answers to most tech questions (along with "CDMage") but lately it hasn't been mentioned much.

Never mind me, I'm just having a slow day at work.

We might as well get (me) started on Fireburner now.

It's a shit-ass piece of rotten f'in crap is what it is!

The one time I tried it it totally hosed my system... I never, NEVER have had any problems with any other burning program I tried...Nero, CloneCD, CDRWin, you name it...

I've never actually used Fireburner, but it sounds like a good program in theory.

fireburner was fine till the idiot making it decided that it would be a good idea to disable the proper burn mode in the shareware edition (it only works in test mode)

meaning its pretty useless as far as shareware goes
