http://www.commell-sys.com/Product/SBC/LV-602.htm... Going with Pentium 3. Cooler, cheaper, and smaller. I photshopped a rough plan, keeping everything in scale as much as I can. Here's what I've got: (Blue Area shows the cut im making in the top of Sega CD / bottom of Genny) Getting a 800Mhz P3, or even a 933Mhz. They poo all over the C3! 256k L2 compared to 64k If I use low profile RAM, I should be able to fit the CDRW over the top. SInce the Mega CD is quite deep... http://www.castlefm.net/mysega/MegaDriveLayer.jpg... http://www.castlefm.net/mysega/MegaCDLayer.jpg... BTW, I did think of a 32x, but nah, don't need one. I'm replacing the controller ports with USB. And sawing a broken sonic cart in half, removing insides, and drilling holes into back, then glueing it into cart slot, act as a little vent. |

I'm going to attempt something very, very cool. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't C3s run on P3 boards anyway? |
