			don't think you see metal cap'd chip on the above picture on the retail Saturn...


That big socketed EPROM looks a little foreign too.

I believe Sophia Dev setup uses the similar EPROM on the socket arrangementas well... but then was told with launch JPN Saturn some of them do have EPROM on the motherboard. not surprising how many internal revisions Sega made with Saturn...

I gotta open mine up and see what it looks like inside.. Plus I have to fit it so I'll be able to do the swap trick, so I'll take pics of the inside too
