what about red zone for megadrive?that did rotation,scaling and a host of other cool effects.

Just took a look; that's definitely impressive. I might just have to disassemble it sometime and see how they're pulling it off... I suspect that the helicopter is prerendered, but I think there's too much of the stuff on the ground to prerender everything.

		Just for interests sake, Granada X and Sol Deace (or Sol Feace for Mega CD) also included sprite rotation from what I remember... can't remember the exact spots in the game though :/

		An absolutely incredible game! I just wish Treasure had been given more than 1 Meg to work with...

		contra hard cops is as least as impressive and playable, but gunstar heroes is much more original and funny IMHO.

		One of the best genesis game in my opnion was Contra The Hard Cops from Konami. So one day I played Gunstar Heroes in my friend house... Wow!!! After that day, this is the best shooter game for this console in my opnion. Great graphics, music and a good co-op mode!
