$100 US? Hmmm... Sounds very interesting  But then again, Perfect NES emu doesn't exist even for latest generation PCs. But a "good enough" is more realistic. I guess, here is a commod sence criteria for a "good enough" emu: - it have to provide realtime (i.e. 100%) speed of NES - going below and above 100% per user decision is a nice bonus - should support all major titles (mappers). Support for weird pirate HK cats is not really necessary - sound should be of a fairly good quality, and realtime, no lags or condensations - should support in-game saves (SRAM) to Saturn's internal save memory as well as save card - should support quick save / restore (for people with lame coordination, who can't play games like Megaman or Contra for more then 3 seconds) Yeah, this is pretty much it... That's what I would keep in mind if decide to write NES emu... Too bad I'm not into NES period  MSX rules, SMS rules, NES I guess is ok, but 6502 never made me feel hot  |
